
I have spent my entire adult life in the Army, where I’ve deployed overseas to Iraq, Kuwait, Guantanamo Bay, and South Korea. I still continue to serve part time as a helicopter pilot based out of Grand Ledge, and I have logged more than 400 flight hours in the Army since I was first elected to office.
I have been a consistent, principled, and conservative voice in the House of Representatives. I am proud that the American Conservative Union has twice recognized me with their Award for Conservative Excellence, which is their highest possible achievement.
Most importantly, I am the only 100% consistently pro-life candidade for the State Senate, not because it is politically expedient, but because it is the right thing to do. I have also worked hard on improving the lives of our veterans, and I have sponsored six pro-veteran bills that have been signed into law.
My wife, Ashley, and I are committed to this district, raising our family together at our home in Charlotte. I hope to earn your vote and I look forward to being your voice in Lansing.
